Couples Counseling
You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’ll help you and your partner understand the patterns, repair the disconnect, and rebuild trust with intention.
Every couple hits rough patches. Maybe you’re stuck in the same argument that never seems to go anywhere, or you’ve started to feel more like roommates than partners. Sometimes it’s not even about big fights — it’s the slow drift that leaves you feeling disconnected and unsure how to fix it.
Couples counseling is a place to slow things down, understand what’s really going on between you, and learn how to show up for each other differently.
Using the Gottman Methond, I help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen friendship and connection.
I point out patterns and lean into challenges to help you discover what’s happening underneath the surface. My style is direct but supportive. I want you both to feel seen, understood, and challenged in ways that actually help you grow.
We’ll work together to:
Understand the cycles that keep you stuck
Practice new ways of communicating and repairing
Rebuild trust and connection (even after tough seasons)
Create a relationship that feels more intentional and secure
You don’t have to keep having the same fight over and over or walking on eggshells just to keep the peace.
Fees for Couples
$185 for 60 minute session | $210 for 90 minute session
In couples counseling, the focus of our work is the relationship rather than one partner as the patient. Most insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis for one individual in order to cover therapy. Because of this, billing insurance would mean assigning a diagnosis to one partner even when the issue we are working on is the relationship itself.
To keep the focus on the relationship and avoid labeling one person as the problem, I do not bill insurance for couples sessions. I can provide a receipt if you would like to request possible out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance.
